It's funny, I have always wanted to created a blog but honestly never took the time out to do it. Until now, it is a requirement for an assignment in one of my Master's courses. So here it goes.... Not sure if I have much to say that would interest anyone, but I feel like my life is at times God's own little comedy sitcom. I'm married to a wonderful man who at times we may act more like siblings then spouses, we argue, pick at each other and prank each other on a daily basis. We are a blended family I have 4 children two of which are in college and he has two that are in high school. As you can probably imagine, having six kids ranging from college to elementary school keeps me on my toes and with a glass of wine in my hand (kidding) (kind of).
For instance, today I had the whole day planned (so I thought) We were going to go on a family hike, but when I came downstairs for the morning, I was met by the aftermath of a tornado, and entire gallon of milk consumed (in one morning) the youngest child could not be accounted for ( I found him, my husband gave him permission to stay at a friends without telling me) and my 95 lbs puppy being completely out of food (even though I went to the store last night and nobody told me). I snapped and simply stated went Mommy Dearest on everyone! What other option did I have? Needless to say we did not enjoy our Saturday (well they didn't) I made them clean my home as if their names were all Cinderella.
After playing prison warden to my children all day I am exhausted and as I sit here with a glass of wine (told you I was kind of kidding) all I an think about is "Oh Lord, I have to do this all over again tomorrow:
